Thanksgiving
We spent Thanksgiving at Ed and Jan Kelly's home, it was a beautiful feast. The gathering was replete with laughter, good food, and cigars (for the men). Thank you so much, Jan and Ed.
Natalie is the best dessert artist- pumpkin roll, brown sugar bars and bread pudding. Amanda's choco chip cookies weren't bad either.
On Friday I watched the Aggies defeat UT- it would have been a great day in Texas either way, but of course I was cheering for the underdogs. Gig 'em (insert obnoxious yelling).
Nothing is as priceless as family because they stand by you no matter what. That's what I give thanks for this November, 2006.
Happy birthday Omid on the 24th and Xavier on the 28th…

No, it's not Halloween...it's time to make the trip to Houston for dia de gracias and Nat is our driver so she gets to wear the "crown."

Gotta love it...

Hook 'em!

I heart Steve.

Just another night in Houston...

Election Day
Well, it's election day and I have a feeling Rick Perry is going to win the race. It was fun to see all the Kinky bumper stickers in Austin and it was annoying to watch Carole Keeton Strayhorn's ads. I wonder if the democrats will take control of the house as speculators say.
This weekend we had a mini law school reunion- Mich and Hassan came in, representing the east and west coasts. Of course, Brian and I were here to represent the south coast ;)

My Michelle!

Aubrey threw a nice soiree on Saturday night. Brian's okay, for those that are wondering...

Brian and Aubrey- I'm so glad LSU won on Saturday, otherwise this picture would have been drastically different.

I am running about two weeks behind on my posting. The images below are from two weekends ago. We went camping, and the weather was parfait. Aly and I went to the Texas Yoga Championships. It was hosted on the roof at Whole Foods. I recognized one of the competitors as an instructor from the Houston Bikram studio I went to.
For the proverbial shoutout- congrats ERIC on your first SOLO FLIGHT.
He's bendy

This shot was taken right before Natalie killed us at horseshoes!

We camped about 45 minutes west of Austin. To all the naysayers- Texas is beautiful! (Certain regions that is...)
Camping

For some reason I found it humorous to watch the biker boys prepare the campfire. Isn't spandex highly flammable?
