My contacts are blurry, CAN NOT wait for the laser!
Trip update: I am in DC and staying with my favorite american portena...Ellie is a great hostess, in fact I can hear margaritas being blended as we speak. There have been adventures and laughter, but in order to avoid boring "all ya'll" I will soon be posting pictures that attest to the fun we've been having.Who said Texas was hot? I about passed out in the national gallery today, but not before learning that wheat is a symbol for fertility. There were twin wedding bands on display at the national botanic gardens, along with some of the most beautiful orchids. My farmer/sister told me that orchids sometimes adapt themselves to look like female birds in order to attract their male counterparts thereby furthering the pollination process.
CD Rec: Nortec Collective, vol. 3...experimental stuff from my favorite Mexican djs.

Boston Invasion
The George family of Arlington, Mass (10 minutes outside of Boston) was inundated with a flood of Texans and a Brit this past week. Thanks to Abe and his family for hosting three law grads and a farmer. More details to come as my roadtrip with my sis and Rachel continues down the east coast. Off to NYC today...the humidity has managed to follow me from Texas all the way up to New England!Wednesday, August 03, 2005
re: comment below
In response to a recent commentator, no this is not the end of the blog, only a new chapter...I may have to rename it, but we´ll work on the details later! This is officially my last entry before i leave south american territory. I am in rio and it is hot, hot, hot- which i much prefer to the wintery landscape that engulfed Buenos Aires.Besos!
