post bar sentiments

The bar is over. Enough said. Now if anyone can tell me whether or not a validly executed joint will can be revoked without the consent of the other spouse, please email me immediately because none of my already-sworn-in lawyer friends have been able to help me on this issue.

I saw March of the Peguins this weekend and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was so interesting to watch the interplay between natural instinct and the community spirit of these creatures. Very informative. NPR featured an interview with Hubert Sauper, an Austrian filmaker, whose latest project is entitled Darwin's Nightmare- "a tale about humans between the North and the South, about globalization, and about fish." (http://www.coop99.at/darwins-nightmare/).

Last night I discovered the Wasabi martini. What a treat...

Happy Birthday Natalie- 21 on the 24th!!!

T-Minus 7 Days

The bar exam starts exactly one week from today and for some reason I'm still sane (just barely). I spent the last few weeks in Louisiana, in a sleepy town called Thibodaux, about an hour outside of New Orleans. It was nice to have a safe haven where I could avoid all distractions and just cram. The cajun food wasn't bad either! Now I'm back in Houston posting in an attempt to show my one avid reader that I'm going to be less lackadaisical with my blogging ;)
