I just wanna camp!

I think we had all been craving a bit of camping action. We went to a place about 30 minutes outside of Austin, called Muleshoe. At first we were a bit worried because we had arrived late and were scrambling to find an open spot. It quickly became apparent that the park was full and the sun was quickly dropping to the west. After much deliberation we decided we would make our own spot. We created a fire pit and pitched the tents. Natalie and Tim arrived while we were playing horseshoes. There is no one, and I mean no one, better to go camping with than Tim. He brought his telescope and showed us Jupiter and the moon. He also brought fun party favors: glow-in-the-dark bracelets. My friend Ryan was the chef. He created foil packs with salmon, veggies and a wonderful pesto which he grilled on the fire. Amanda was the maestro of the smores. She helped everyone load the clothing hangers with marshmallows and was ready when it was time to choclify and grahamify.
