The Alhambra is a palace constructed by the Nasrid dynasty and is said to be the most outstanding example of Islamic architecture surviving in the western world. It took us an entire morning to explore this expansive royal city, but the views were well worth it.

OM: A sacred Sanskrit symbol believed to be the spoken essence of the universe. It is uttered as a mantra and in affirmations and blessings. The phonetics of the sound Om starts in the bottom of the vocal cavity and ultimately vaporates into a silent void. This process symbolizes the creation, the maintainence, the destruction of all things and the return to where they came.
